Finally finished! The first in a set of three [See/Speak/Hear Not Evil]. All are dragons done in india ink, on 9x12 inch Mead sketch paper. I am so wishing I'd done these on bristol, but it STARTED as just a pointless sketch of the head, which then became my india ink experiment, which then spiraled completely out of hand and became this monster. Next in the series, Hear Not is 50% done! w00t-w00t! Image Copyright 2008 ~Halcyon-Dreams Do not steal, copy, trace, claim as your own, or use for any reason beyond personal inspiration. kthnx |

mostly because you make my skills feel inferior
this is incredible. and your patience is incredible. and the detail is incredible.
all this lack of credibility is leading me to think it is perhaps a lie?

**Do not mess with dragons, for you are soft and crunchy and good with ketchup.**
1. I will ride without a saddle. I am talented like that.
2. Red is not mine, Patriot is too cute for bees to sting, and Trigger is immune to such things.
3. I would like to remind you that a group of corvids is a murder. Bees make a swarm.
4. Teehee
Yes, though, thank you.
And I have no idea where the patience comes from... drawing all those teeny lines is pratically hypnotic.

i see you have improved on the design
a bit more shading and stuff... but the most improvement is in the cloth
but tell me... did you find a better scanner? or did you cave to the might of photoshop?

Ohmygosh, I was so afraid I'd ruin the entire picture be doing a horrid job on the cloth, so I'm glad to hear you like it!
And actually, I always use photoshop to restore what my scanner eats. Only this time around it was much more agreeable. [mwahaha]
